I recorded this album in the weeks leading up to my departure from an old home back in May.
I had been living solo during quarantine since late-January, and at the insistence of a friend (J), I had felt the need to document my state of mind during this time.
I recorded these songs onto an old Pioneer reel-to-reel I had found on the street a few years earlier with my friend, Drew.
It was just me, my guitar, and the songs that felt natural on those few nights.
I remember wanting to be quiet...so as not to wake the neighbors.
The album is sequenced in the way it was recorded.
There are new songs, old songs, and a couple of covers.
I hope y'all enjoy it.
I hope it helps some people get through whatever they're facing.
It's been a hell of a year, and I hope this brings some comfort, or at least a simpatico shoulder to rest upon.
